Langkawi
"Malaysia's Mini Paradise "

Attracting over 3 million travellers annually, Langkawi, or the Jewel of Kedah State, is an archipelago of 99 islands in Malaysia. Sprawled over the turquoise Malacca Strait, Langkawi flaunts serene beaches interspersed with cliffs and rainforests, expansive rice paddies, chic promenades, historical relics, and art galleries, bustling bazaars and duty-free shops.

Best Time To Visit Langkawi

November to March is the best time to visit Langkawi, as this is when peninsular Malaysia receives the most sunshine. The weather during this period is relatively cold and pleasant. Although Langkawi falls into the tropical zone, it does not experience severe or unstable weather changes that Malaysia typically does. The reason behind it is that Langkawi is well-protected by the island of Sumatra on its west and the Malaysian mainland on its east. Due to its strategic location, the temperatures remain fairly consistent throughout the year, hovering between 25 degree to 34 degree Celsius. This region experiences two distinct seasons, namely the wet season from April to October and the dry season from November to March. February is considered as the hottest month of the year, while September to October is the wettest period. During monsoon, the rains last for only 2-3 hours and are usually followed by sunshine.

With the sun setting over the Andaman Sea, travellers on the yachts can enjoy an explosion of orange and purple across the sky and on the water. Cruises also offer tourists a saltwater jacuzzi, where tourists can float on the seat protected by a net and enjoy being massaged by the yacht’s trail. In addition, the cruises provide seafood barbecues for dinner, as well as unlimited drinks, included with the ticket price.

Jet Ski Island Hopping
A jet ski island hopping tour lets travellers take control of their journey exploring the islands around Langkawi. Led by a local guide, jet ski tours explore the Singa Besar island, the Beras Basah island and the secluded Intan Kecil island. At Singa Besar island, jet skis stop, and tourists can witness the sea eagles around the island; guides may even feed the eagles. In addition, the four-hour jet ski tour allows tourists the opportunity to trek through the islands if they want and explore the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden.
