Later, we proceed to Ocean Park Hong Kong, a must see attraction with over 80 attractions and performances. During today’s visit to the Mineral Museum you can see the world-famous Terracotta Warriors - terracotta sculptures depicting warriors in the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. These priceless relics have been loaned from the famous excavation site in Xian. Also visit the Bamboo Market. We continue and proceed to visit ‘Windows of the World’, a fantastic replica park where you can see vivid models of the world’s wonders, historical heritage and famous scenic sites from different countries. March - April and October - November: These are the best times of the year to visit Hong Kong. The spring time (March - April) sees cool evenings. The months of October and November are agreeable too. Pleasant breezes, perfect amount of sunshine and moderate temperatures are some things which make autumn an ideal time to visit the Island.
May - September: This is the typhoon season in Hong Kong and thus not a preferred time to travel to the Island. June to August is when the city tends to get very hot, wet and humid. The temperatures go beyond 31°C and the high humidity levels make it difficult for anyone to indulge in any outdoor activities.
December - February: Hong Kong is the coldest between December and February. It remains dry and cloudy during this time and the temperatures can drop below 10°C. Also, many shops remain closed during the Chinese New Year (mid-January to February, dates change annually).
